Abstract: In this paper, an assistive commode is for elderly knee and thigh weakness. Linear actuators of the commode lift the person while standing and can also assist while sitting. The toilet seat itself lifts the person to standing. Ergonomics, with digital RULA analysis, optimizes the design. The paper also shows the circuit diagram for the actuators. The RULA analysis showed the model was suitable for people with different physic.
