Abstract: There are a great changes come in Indian education system. In foreign countries, online education systems are used as earlier but in India it was used only in professional studies. Now the scenario has changed. Now India is using online education not only for professional studies, but also schools, higher studies and in colleges also. In this manuscript this is trying to understand the various merits and demerits of using online education system. In this study, the main focus is to understand the education pattern of the country over the years and the role of government policies in the up gradation of Indian education system.
