Abstract: Smart City is the one which uses Information and Communication Technologies to make the critical infrastructure components and services of city administration, education, healthcare, public safety, real estate, transportation and utilities more aware, interactive and efficient. Majority of IoT network nodes employed indifferent applications involve various connectivity standards such as Near Field Communication (NFC), ZigBee, Bluetooth. To design an IoT device with Multistandard Microcontroller Unit and tointegrate the above IoT device with line transceiver to develop an IoT wireless transceiver node. After validating test the network with various wireless signals simulated for widely used wireless connectivity standards and application by evaluation of QoS parameters.
